FAQ

We offer an industry standard 10% commission on the sales price of the vessel. This covers all our costs involved in marketing your vessel, the cost to transfer title, all video services and ad’s we place thru social media, hard print etc.

We manage the sale of your vessel, however costs of hauling, storage, maintenance upkeep and marina services are all your responsibility. We have a fabulous relationship with our marina who offer all our brokerage clients discounted rates, depending on the size and services needed.

Depending on the size, we can display it on its own trailer or blocked. Larger vessels are hauled and blocked for showing, all in our secure marina yard in an area only for our vessels.

We prefer to have our for brokerage vessels at our marina where we can always have it available to show. It is always best to have one location where prospective buyers can come to with one appointment rather than run from boat to boat like a real estate agent would.

Occasionally, we will accept brokerage vessels that remain at the sellers location. Your broker can discuss the logistics with you.

For larger vessels, we hire a Certified Captain to run the vessel while we work closely with the prospective Buyer. Smaller boats, your Broker will typically handle the sea trial.

A Sea Trial only happens after an earnest deposit is made and a signed purchase agreement is completed-no exceptions.

We will arrange to obtain all required paperwork from you at listing signing. This will include but may not be limited to:

  • Keys
  • Any and ALL Equipment that goes with vessel
  • Original Registration
  • Copy of Title
  • Any Documentation forms
  • Copy of any loan coupons and documentation
  • Service History Records
  • Most recent Survey if Applicable
  • Insurance proof
